SEXUAL HEALTH
We work to prevent the spread of sexually transmitted infections through confidential testing and treatment. STIs can cause serious health issues if left untreated. Our staff is here to help you get testing and treatment to help you stay healthy.

Getting tested for STIs is the only way to know for sure if you have one. Knowing your status helps you make healthy decisions to prevent getting or transmitting an STI. You should be examined by a healthcare professional if you notice any of the following symptoms, or if your partner has an STI or symptoms of an STI:
  • Abnormal genital discharge
  • Painful urination
  • Abnormal bleeding
  • Flu-like symptoms
  • Sores or ulcers in the mouth or genitals
  • Itching or irritation of the genitals

We offer the following tests for STIs:

Additional testing (herpes, HPV, etc) is potentially available, but requires a physician's order or an appointment in our Women's Health Clinic.

What to expect when getting tested:
Services provided at the Health Center are confidential, but not anonymous. Nobody in the lobby will know why your are here as we provide many services.
The Health Center is limited to testing your blood or urine.
  • Note: Must refrain from urinating for at least 1 hour prior to giving a urine sample.
